Alepu Beach (Drivers' Beach)
InformalAlepu, also called Shofyorski or Drivers' Beach, is an undeveloped sand beach on the Bulgarian Black Sea about 6.5 km south of Sozopol. It runs between Dyuni to the north and the Ropotamo reserve to the south, and takes its name from the Alepu marsh that lies just behind the dunes; the dunes themselves are part of the Ropotamo protected area. The nickname comes from the coast road between Sozopol and Primorsko, which runs right beside the sand, so many visitors simply park and walk a few metres over the dunes. Nude bathing is long established here but not universal: visitors report that the share of nude bathers swings from most of the beach to only a handful within an afternoon. Nude couples and families mostly settle toward the northern end, away from the busier stretch near the beach bar in the middle. The beach is long enough that it rarely feels crowded, attracts mainly Bulgarian families and couples rather than a party crowd, and has almost no natural shade. Waves can build in the bay and parts of the shallows are rocky. Camper vans gather at the southern end in summer.

Baltata Beach
InformalBaltata Beach lies on the northern Bulgarian Black Sea coast between the resorts of Albena and Kranevo, in front of the Baltata nature reserve, a riverside forest where the Batova river reaches the sea. The beach is wide fine sand, open to the wind, and backed by protected woodland rather than hotels, which is why it attracts nudists and people looking for quieter, nature-oriented holidays. The nude stretch is small and sits slightly north of the beach belonging to the Therma Village resort: walk about 100 m past the water-sports kiosk and cross the small river mouth to reach it. It is mostly used by Bulgarian couples, young and old, plus foreign visitors who know about it; clothed resort guests walk past along the shoreline and generally ignore the nude bathers. Laguna Beach nearby does not accept nudity, so keep to the stretch by the reserve. Umbrellas and loungers are rented on the beach in season and there is a lifeguard and a bar on the managed part, while the reserve side is undeveloped. Wind can pick up quickly on this open shore.

FKK Listi Beach, Sinemorec
InformalListi is a wild sand beach on the far southern Black Sea coast of Bulgaria, between the village of Sinemorets and the Rezovo border area, inside Strandzha Nature Park. It is one of a string of undeveloped coves south of Sinemorets, with Lipite to the north and Silistar to the south. The beach runs for roughly 500 metres and is broken up by high cliffs that reach into the sea, which creates several semi-private sections. The sand is fine and the water in this sheltered corner is described as among the warmest on the Bulgarian coast. There is no beach concession, so no sunbeds, bars or lifeguards, and even in peak summer the beach stays almost empty. That isolation is why it is used by people looking for quiet and by nudists; nude bathing is by custom rather than designation, and there is no separate textile or nude zone. Bring everything you need, including shade.

Fichoza Beach
InformalFichoza is a natural beach on the Black Sea just south of Cape Galata, a short drive from Varna. The sand slopes steeply below green hills, and the beach is busy with Varna locals on summer weekends, when a few bars and restaurants open. Wikipedia lists it among Bulgaria's informal nude beaches; nudity is unofficial and usually confined to the quieter ends, away from the bars. Bulgaria has no national nudism law, so local municipal rules apply.
Galata Beach
InformalGalata Beach is a wild strip of the Black Sea coast below Cape Galata, a few kilometres south of central Varna, reached down a steep wooded slope. It is a natural beach of sand and pebbles of a few hundred metres, with no lifeguards, umbrellas, sunbeds or bars, and because the way down is long and steep it sees far fewer people than Varna's city beaches. The southern end is rockier and broken into small coves, and it is this end that a Bulgarian beach guide describes as favoured by nude bathers and people looking for privacy. The water is clear but can be rough when the wind blows onshore. Fichoza beach, a busier neighbour with seasonal bars, lies just to the south.

Irakli Beach
UnofficialIrakli is one of the last long wild beaches on Bulgaria's Black Sea coast, lying in Nesebar municipality a few kilometres south of Obzor. The shore is a broad run of soft golden sand backed by scrub and oak forest climbing the slopes of the eastern Balkan range, with no town behind it. The northern end has changed in recent years: a large five-star resort (Vaya Beach) now stands there, along with a bistro and a couple of bars, and that end is used by clothed beachgoers. The nude section is further south: walk roughly 200-300 m along the sand past the resort, cross a small creek, and the beach beyond is where most people are nude. It is a long, spacious stretch that rarely feels crowded even on summer weekends. The crowd is a mix of Bulgarian families, couples, backpackers and young campers, and in July and August tents line the back of the beach. The sea is open to the east, so wind can be strong and surf occasionally rough. Visitors have described the nude section as relaxed and good for first-timers; the main complaint is the creeping development at the northern end.

Lipite Beach
InformalSecluded sandy cove south of Sinemorets on the southern Black Sea coast, about 84 km from Burgas. It can only be reached on foot, roughly a kilometre from the car park, often by way of Butamyata beach and a short trail at its southern end. Fine sand, clear water, rock formations and a forest backdrop draw nudists looking for quiet. There are no bars or lifeguards, and currents can be strong, so swim with care.
Nessebar Nude Beach
InformalThe informal nude area of Nessebar lies at the far southern end of Nessebar South Beach, the long sandy bay that curves south-west from the new town of Nessebar toward Ravda on Bulgaria's southern Black Sea coast. The north-eastern part of South Beach is a typical resort strip with sunbeds, umbrellas and bars. Toward the south-west it becomes a free zone without concessions, and welcome.bg notes that its southernmost stretch, reached by unpaved roads, is used by nudists. Here the beach lies beneath low cliffs, which is unusual on this coast and gives natural shade that spreads across the sand through the afternoon. The sand is fine, the water is usually calm and clear with little seaweed, and the wind is stronger near the waterline than under the cliffs. There are no facilities on the nude section. Recent visitor reports describe a high share of nude bathers, a mix of locals and tourists, younger couples and singles, and a relaxed atmosphere, with more space if you walk a little further along. The main complaint is litter, chiefly cigarette butts.

Ropotamo Mouth
InformalRopotamo Beach lies where the Ropotamo River enters the Black Sea, between Primorsko and Sozopol on Bulgaria's southern coast, inside the Ropotamo nature reserve. The river ends in a long, wide estuary held back from the sea by sandspits, and the beach is the sandy shore of that river mouth, backed by the reserve's woodland and wetland. Because it sits in a protected area with no road to the sand, it has stayed wild: there are no lifeguards, sunbeds, bars or toilets. welcome.bg, a Bulgarian beach guide, says it is visited mostly by nudists, which makes the whole beach rather than a corner of it the nude area. Arkutino, an organised and family-oriented beach, lies about 2.5 km to the north. Information on this beach is thin, and conditions in the reserve can change, so check locally before planning a visit.
