About Tallparksbadet
Tallparksbadet is the municipal bathing place inside Tallparken, a shoreline nature park of pines, cliffs and paths on the southern edge of Öregrund in Östhammar municipality, on the Roslagen coast north of Stockholm. The swimming area is mostly smooth granite rock with a small sandy beach. SVT Uppsala's county bathing guide, compiled from municipal websites, says a marked area within Tallparksbadet is set aside for naturist bathing; we could not see that marking on an official page ourselves, so treat the exact boundaries as something to check on the signs when you arrive. The rest of the park is used by ordinary clothed bathers, walkers and families, with barbecue spots and picnic tables among the pines. Paths run through the park between central Öregrund and Hummelfjärden to the south. Like other Uppsala-county coastal spots, the water here can be affected by algae blooms in high summer, and the municipality has in past seasons advised against swimming at Tallparksbadet during a bloom.
Getting there
Tallparksbadet is on the southern side of Öregrund. By car, take the Öregrund entrance road, turn onto Hummelvägen and then Snöbärsvägen to the main entrance, where there is a small car park; tourist parking is also available at Sven Perssonhallen a few hundred metres away. It is easy to reach on foot or by bike from the town centre along Tallparken's path network, and Öregrund has bus connections. Toilets, including an accessible one, are at the tennis-court kiosk. The rocks are uneven, so the naturist area itself is not wheelchair friendly.

Legal context
SVT Uppsala's bathing guide (based on municipal websites, undated) lists a marked naturist area at Tallparksbadet; we did not see the Östhammar municipality page itself. Sweden has no law against nude bathing; nudity only becomes an issue if it amounts to sexual harassment or disorderly conduct towards others.
Naturism at Tallparksbadet sits under Sweden's rules for de facto tolerance — usually left alone if you keep it non-sexual and low-drama.

Researched 24 October 2026. No official source confirms naturist status, so treat it as unverified.
