About Plage Naturiste de l’Amer Sud
The Amer Sud area is part of the long shingle shore south of Cayeux-sur-Mer, on the Picardy coast at the mouth of the Baie de Somme. The ridge of rounded grey-blue pebbles slopes into the Channel, and the beach is much quieter than the boardwalk in town. Beach guides report a signed section where nude sunbathing is accepted, and some naturists walk on towards the marshes past the old lighthouse. There are no facilities in the nude section. Bring something soft to lie on, plus water and windproof layers, because this coast is often breezy and cool.
Getting there
Drive south from Cayeux-sur-Mer town centre along the coast road; parking is usually easy outside peak weekends. Walk onto the shingle to the signed section.
