About Plage de Chiorusa
Plage de Chiosura (often misspelt Chiorusa) is a long, wild sandy beach in Linguizzetta on the east coast of Haute-Corse, part of the Costa Serena stretch south of Cervione and north of Aléria that is home to several naturist holiday villages, including Bagheera and the beach at Tropica. Chiosura is little known and unsigned; it is bordered by Corsican maquis and a eucalyptus wood, with a few campsites behind it. The beach directory Bord de Mer lists it as an 'espace naturiste': naturists settle on sections away from the main access paths, while the area near the paths is used mostly by clothed families. With a short walk of about five minutes along the sand it is easy to find space away from neighbours. Nudity in Corsica is generally tolerated only near naturist structures and on beaches with an established naturist custom, so keep to the quieter sections.
Getting there
From the N198 south of Cervione, continue about 1.2 km past the D17 junction, turn left at the sign for the Rose-Marie pizzeria and follow a rough track past a horse ranch; after about 300 m turn right, ignore the first right (campsite entrance) after 250 m, and turn right at the end of the track to a small car park. A marked footpath leads to the sand. Free parking nearby; no facilities listed.
Amenities
Legal context
French law treats nudity as sexual exhibition only when imposed on others; nude bathing is accepted on beaches with naturist custom. Chiosura has no municipal naturist designation found (2026); naturism is customary on sections away from the access paths.
Naturism at Plage de Chiorusa sits under France's rules for traditional tolerance — custom more than statute.

Researched 24 October 2026. No official source confirms naturist status, so treat it as unverified.
