About Ågesta Nakenbad
Ågesta naturistbad is a lakeside nude bathing place on the southern part of Lake Magelungen, just over the Stockholm city boundary in Huddinge, about 10 km south of the centre and close to the Ågesta outdoor recreation area and the Ågesta-Orlången nature reserve. It is run by volunteers from the naturist association EOS and promoted by Sveriges Naturistförbund, and is widely described as the only official nude beach in the Stockholm area. The shore is a mix of small sandy patches and a large grassy area for sunbathing, backed by forest, with a bathing pier into the lake. EOS runs a wood-fired lakeside sauna for about 14 people on several evenings a week in season, with a pier for cooling off between rounds; SNF reported 2025 sauna sessions drawing over 40 participants. Facilities are simple: tables, picnic and barbecue spots, play areas and toilets, but no changing rooms or showers. Bathing is nude, and clothed visitors are asked to undress or use another beach. The crowd ranges widely in age, and regulars know each other.
Getting there
From Farsta Centrum or Farsta Strand (T-bana green line) take a bus toward Huddinge/Ågesta, then walk about 10-15 minutes along forest paths, which have limited signage. By car, park near the Ågesta friluftsgård area (Ågesta Friluftsgård, 123 52 Farsta) and walk in. Paths are unpaved and uneven, so access is not suitable for wheelchairs.
