About Plage de Bonporteau

Bonporteau is a small, sheltered cove at the eastern edge of Cavalaire bay, below the wooded slopes towards Cap Lardier, and is listed among the Var's informal naturist spots. It has a mix of sand and pebbles and clear water, with limited parking along the coastal road and a short walk down. Nude bathing is tolerated rather than designated, so expect some clothed visitors and be discreet. It gets busy in July and August; mornings and shoulder season are quieter.

This France naturist beach is a clothing-optional place in a traditionally tolerated setting. Families are welcome.

Legal context
