About Arillas Beach
Arillas is a relaxed resort village on the north-west coast of Corfu, in the municipality of North Corfu, with a long, gently curving bay of sand and fine shingle facing the islets of Gravia and Diapontia. The central part of the beach, in front of the village, is a normal family resort beach with tavernas and sunbeds. The naturist section is at the northern end of the bay (the right-hand end when facing the sea), beyond the main tourist stretch, where the beach runs under soft clay cliffs; reviewers have described nude use there for more than two decades, and some visitors coat themselves in the clay from the cliffs. Quieter outlying sections at either end of the bay are also used by naturists, but the north end is the established spot. The water is clear and shallow near the shore,, and the bay faces west toward the sunset. Food, drink and toilets are all available in the village, a short walk along the sand from the nude area.
Getting there
Arillas is about 40 km from Corfu Town; drive via Sidari or across the island via the Troumpetas pass and follow signs for Arillas. There is roadside and village parking near the centre of the beach. Walk north along the sand from the village to reach the naturist end. The KTEL green bus runs from Corfu Town to the north-west villages, though services are limited. Walking on the sand makes the nude end unsuitable for wheelchairs.
What visitors say
Reviewers describe the northern end as clean with a good, relaxed atmosphere, and several mention naturists using the clay from the cliffs as a mud bath. The main beach in front of the village is clothed and family-oriented, and the boundary is informal, so newcomers simply walk north until they see others undressed. Reports go back to at least 2000, suggesting a stable, long-tolerated naturist end.

Legal context
Arillas has no official nudist designation; nudity at the northern end is a long-standing informal practice described in reviews since at least 2000. Stay away from the central, family section of the bay when undressed. Greece has no national register of designated nudist beaches; nudity is formally sanctioned only at licensed naturist establishments, but on remote or traditionally nude beaches it is widely tolerated, and police generally act only if someone complains.
Naturism at Arillas Beach sits under Greece's rules for de facto tolerance — usually left alone if you keep it non-sexual and low-drama.
