About Playa de Tiritaña
Tiritaña is a small, isolated cove on Gran Canaria's south-west coast in the municipality of Mogán, between Puerto de Mogán and Taurito/Tauro. It is less than 100 m long and narrow, a beach of dark sand and stones beneath steep, barren hillsides, with moderate swell. There are no services at all: no lifeguard, kiosk, showers or shade. The national tourism portal describes it as a small nudist beach in a rustic setting, and other guides and the Spanish Naturist Federation also list it as nudist. Because it is only reachable on foot or by boat, few people come, and most of those who do sunbathe nude. It is a good choice for a quiet day away from the busy resort beaches nearby. Bring water and supplies.
Getting there
From Puerto de Mogán take the GC-500 towards Tauro for about 7 km and follow the signposted turn-off towards Tiritaña; there is a small unsupervised parking area with fewer than 50 spaces and a bus stop nearby. From there a fairly rough path of about 15-20 minutes leads down to the cove. The beach can also be reached by boat. Not suitable for people with limited mobility.

Legal context
Nudity is not prohibited on Spanish beaches. Tiritaña's nude use is customary, recognised by the Spanish Naturist Federation and described as nudist by the national tourism portal, but it is not municipally designated (2026).
Naturism at Playa de Tiritaña sits under Spain's rules for de facto tolerance — usually left alone if you keep it non-sexual and low-drama.
Full country law: Spain public nudity guide.
Naturist status confirmed against an official source on 24 October 2026.
