About Aigües Blanques
Aigües Blanques (Aguas Blancas, listed by the Consell d'Eivissa as S'Aigua Blanca) is a beach of about 300 m on the north-east coast of Ibiza in Santa Eulària des Riu, below the village of Sant Carles de Peralta. It is the best-known nude beach in the north-east of the island. High clay cliffs ring the bay, and the sand is noticeably darker than on Ibiza's other nude beaches. The cliffs also put the beach in shade in the afternoon: direct sun is best from about 10:00 to 14:00. Nudity is traditional across the beach, but not universal. Guides say naturists tend to gather towards the ends, while clothed visitors cluster near the access point and the two beach bars. One part of the shore has a clay seam that visitors use for mud baths. In season there are sunbeds, parasols and lifeguards, though services are simpler than at Es Cavallet in the south. The beach faces east and north-east, so levante and gregal winds bring heavy surf. On those days the west-coast coves are calmer. Es Figueral, a separate beach, lies just to the south.
Getting there
From Sant Carles take the road towards Cala de Sant Vicent and turn right onto the signed, narrow road down to Aigües Blanques. In high season cars may not drive to the beach. Park at the top of the cliff, either free along the road or in the paid car park, then walk down a steep paved path with steps. The climb back is the hard part, and the beach is not suitable for reduced mobility. TIB bus line 16C served the beach in 2026.
What visitors say
Guides and visitors describe a scenic cove framed by tall cliffs, with a laid-back mix of nude and clothed bathers and naturists concentrated at the ends. The clay mud bath is a favourite ritual. Common tips are to arrive in the morning, because the cliffs shade the sand from mid-afternoon, and to be ready for the steep walk back to the car. Rough water on easterly wind days is a frequent complaint. Summer parking fills quickly.

Legal context
Public nudity is not an offence in Spain, and Aigües Blanques has been a traditional nude beach for decades. La Voz de Ibiza (2026) describes it as an official nudist beach, but we found no Consell d'Eivissa or Santa Eulària council page confirming a formal naturist designation. Seasonal traffic rules close the road down to the beach in high season.
Naturism at Aigües Blanques sits under Spain's rules for traditional tolerance — custom more than statute.
