About Strandbad Wostra

The Strandbad Wostra, on Dresden's south-eastern edge by the Elbe, is a naturist-only lake bath run by the municipal bathing company Dresdner Bäder. It has operated as a pure FKK facility since 1982. The grounds of about 20,000 m² surround a small renaturalised gravel lake with a fine-sand beach, rentable beach chairs and a broad lawn, with part of the water set aside as a non-swimmer area. There is also a playground, sports areas, shaded spots and a snack bar/café run by a tenant. The separate, textile Freibad Wostra lies immediately next door, so make sure you enter the Strandbad gate. It is a small bath compared with Dresden's large pools, and a day ticket costs less than at the city's textile open-air baths.

Getting there

The address is Wilhelm-Weitling-Straße 39, 01259 Dresden, directly on the Elbe cycle path (Elberadweg), which makes cycling from the city centre easy. The operator lists car and bicycle parking; details and fees were not given. Admission in 2026 was €5.00 for adults at the desk (€4.50 online), €3.50 reduced and €3.00 for children up to 17; children under 1 m enter free, and there is a weekday after-work rate from 16:00. Season tickets cost €200 for adults. Check dresdner-baeder.de for opening dates and the nearest public transport stop.
