About Strand Rettin - FKK
Neustadt in Holstein, on the Lübeck Bay coast of the Baltic, includes the seaside villages of Pelzerhaken and Rettin, joined by a long sandy beach that runs north-east from the Pelzerhaken headland. The regional tourism agency for the Lübeck Bay lists a clothing-free FKK stretch in Pelzerhaken, a little north of the BeachHouse, which puts it on the open shore between Pelzerhaken and Rettin; a beach directory describes the same section as lying between the two villages and signposted. The beach here is fine sand with shallow, gently shelving water, which suits non-swimmers and children, and behind it a wooded cliff and a new promenade lead past the Rettiner Wiesen meadows to a lagoon with dunes. Rettin is the quieter end of the coast, with two campsites right on the beach, a surf and SUP school, the Strandliebe beach café in the dunes and a few snack stands; beach chairs can be rented.
Getting there
Pelzerhaken and Rettin are a few kilometres east of Neustadt in Holstein, which is off the A1 (Lübeck–Fehmarn) and has a railway station; regional buses link Neustadt with Pelzerhaken and Rettin. Walk or cycle along the promenade from Pelzerhaken north past the BeachHouse to reach the FKK section; access is level on sand and promenade paths. Parking spaces are available in both villages; fees were not published in the sources we saw. A seasonal visitor tax (Ostseecard) may apply on these beaches; check with the local tourist information.

Legal context
The Tourismus-Agentur Lübecker Bucht lists the Pelzerhaken stretch north of the BeachHouse as one of its two FKK beaches (2026), so nude bathing is expected there. Away from the marked section the beach is textile, and German law only penalises nudity that causes a public nuisance (§118 OWiG).
Naturism at Strand Rettin - FKK sits under Germany's rules for officially designated nude beaches — explicit protection inside the marked area.
Full country law: Germany public nudity guide.
Naturist status confirmed against an official source on 25 October 2026.
