About Spiaggia Naturista di Porto d’Adda

The Porto d'Adda naturist beach is a stony riverbank on the Adda between Cornate d'Adda and Paderno d'Adda, about 50 km north-east of Milan, hidden by thick riverside vegetation. The area lies within the Parco Adda Nord, a protected wooded stretch of the river valley. The beach itself is a small, pebbly strip by the water, reached after a walk through the woods from the sanctuary of Santa Maria della Rocchetta. It has a long naturist tradition and appears in lists of long-established Lombard nude spots, but it is not authorised: the use is tolerated and subject to occasional checks. The Adda flows fast here, with an irregular bottom, so guides advise bathing only in the small sheltered bend to the left of the beach. There are no facilities. It is a quiet option for naturists who do not mind a walk and a rustic, informal setting.

Getting there

From Cornate d'Adda, follow the brown tourist signs for Santa Maria della Rocchetta and park at the car park there. From the car park, a path through the woods leads down to the river in about 20 minutes; it is uneven and not suitable for wheelchairs. There are no facilities at the beach, so bring water.

What visitors say

Guides describe a secluded, tree-screened riverbank with a long-standing naturist presence and few people. They stress caution in the water because of currents and the uneven riverbed, recommending the sheltered bend on the left. The 20-minute woodland walk keeps it quiet.
