About Spiaggia delle Tombe
Le Tombe is a small, wild cove on the south-west coast of Elba in Campo nell'Elba, between Fetovaia and Pomonte, below the panoramic coast road. The beach is mostly dark stones, and the water is very clear and deep, good for snorkelling over the rocky seabed. Le Tombe is one of Elba's naturist beaches and appears in both of the Tuscan tourism board's guides to naturist beaches; visitors report a nudist atmosphere, though clothed bathers come down too. Its relative remoteness keeps numbers modest. There are no services at all and very little shade, and the stones get hot, so bring an umbrella, a mat, water and food. Jellyfish can appear in some summers.
Getting there
From Marina di Campo follow the coast road west past Fetovaia towards Pomonte. About 1.2 km beyond Fetovaia there is a small, free dirt car park on the left on white ground. From there a rough, steep path leads down to the beach; allow 10 to 30 minutes depending on the route. Wear closed or rock shoes. The descent is not suitable for small children or people with limited mobility. You can also arrive by boat.
What visitors say
Visitors describe a beautiful, quiet cove with outstanding water, a largely naturist crowd and a demanding walk in and out. People recommend sturdy shoes, plenty of water and an umbrella, as the dark stones heat up. Some reviewers warn about stinging jellyfish in certain summers and suggest a mask to spot them.

Legal context
Le Tombe is listed by the Tuscan regional tourism board as a naturist beach, but we found no municipal designation (checked 2026). Italy has no national naturism law; nudity where naturism is customary has generally not been treated by the courts as an offence against public decency, but elsewhere it can draw an administrative fine under art. 726 of the Penal Code.
Naturism at Spiaggia delle Tombe sits under Italy's rules for traditional tolerance — custom more than statute.

Naturist status confirmed against an official source on 25 October 2026.
