About Sa Roqueta
Sa Roqueta is a small, semi-urban beach on the north coast of Formentera at Es Pujols, lying between Ses Canyes and the long Platja de Llevant. It is roughly 560 m long including its small bays, but narrow at about 20 m, with fine golden sand broken by low rocky outcrops that divide it into pockets. When the wind drops, the clear turquoise water looks like a natural pool, and the swell is usually moderate. There is no lifeguard or shower according to FEN, and parking is limited to a small unsupervised area. The national tourism portal notes that nudism is practised here, and the Spanish Naturist Federation lists Sa Roqueta as a nudist-tradition beach. As on much of Formentera, nude and clothed visitors share the beach without fuss. Because it sits right next to the Es Pujols resort, it is easy to reach and can be fairly busy in summer.
Getting there
Sa Roqueta is a short walk from Es Pujols and from neighbouring Ses Canyes or Llevant beaches. By car, take the PM-820 towards Es Pujols; there is a small unsupervised car park with fewer than 50 spaces, which fills at peak times. Buses from La Savina serve Es Pujols. Access on foot is easy, though the rocky sections need care.

Legal context
Nudity is not prohibited on Balearic beaches and is widely accepted on Formentera. Sa Roqueta's nude use is customary and recognised by the Spanish Naturist Federation, not a municipal designation (2026).
Naturism at Sa Roqueta sits under Spain's rules for de facto tolerance — usually left alone if you keep it non-sexual and low-drama.
Full country law: Spain public nudity guide.
Naturist status confirmed against an official source on 24 October 2026.
