About Ratnovská zátoka (Sĺňava)
Ratnovská zátoka is a bay on the Sĺňava reservoir on the river Váh, just north of the spa town of Piešťany in western Slovakia. It is often described as the oldest nudist beach in Slovakia, used by nude bathers since the 1980s. The bottom of the reservoir is muddy, so the beach is used mainly for relaxing and sunbathing rather than swimming. It is an informal, unsigned nude area without facilities, so bring what you need. The town and its spa parks are a short trip away.
This Slovakia naturist beach is a clothing-optional place in a traditionally tolerated setting. Families are welcome.
