About Pucher Meer
Pucher Meer, also called Pucher See, is a gravel-pit lake of about 5.7 hectares in the Puch district of Fürstenfeldbruck, west of Munich. It has been filling since the mid-1970s after gravel extraction, and it is said to reach about 10 metres in depth, with groundwater springs feeding it. The site is a local leisure area with a beach volleyball court, a restaurant, toilets, swimming pontoons and a buoy line used for triathlon training, plus a Red Cross water rescue station. Travel guides describe a designated naturist bathing area with its own section of shoreline, reached from the car park across a steep bank. The restaurant often closes outside the main season. Visitors report that dogs are not allowed, and that gunfire from a nearby shooting range is sometimes audible. No official city page on the naturist section was found, so its exact limits and current status are not documented. Local reports from late 2025 say the owner wanted to fill the lake in after the town council refused a recycling plant, so check the lake's status before travelling.
Getting there
Pucher Meer lies south of Puch, in the Fürstenfeldbruck area west of Munich. Travel guides give about 45 minutes by car from Munich and about an hour by public transport. A car park is on site, but I did not confirm its price. The naturist section is across from the car park on the steep bank, so the walk can be hard going with limited mobility. Wheelchair access and step-free paths were not documented. Bring water and check the restaurant's opening hours, as it often shuts outside summer. Confirm the route on a map, since no official access guide was found.

Legal context
I did not find a statewide or municipal rule for nude bathing at this lake. The naturist area is described only by travel guides and map sites, so the operator's rules and any signage on site should be checked before going.
Naturism at Pucher Meer sits under Germany's rules for traditional tolerance — custom more than statute.

Researched 24 October 2026. No official source confirms naturist status, so treat it as unverified.
