About I Tronchi (Spiaggia delle Capanne)

I Tronchi, also called Spiaggia delle Capanne after the driftwood huts built on it, is the wild stretch of sand south of Principina a Mare, towards the mouth of the Ombrone and the Maremma Regional Park. Beyond the last bathing establishments the beach is backed by pine forest and scattered with tree trunks, and a fair number of naturists sunbathe nude there. Walk south along the shore from the village; there are no services, so bring shade and water.

This Italy naturist beach is a clothing-optional place in a traditionally tolerated setting. Families are welcome.

Legal context
