About Praia de Tuia
Tulla (Tuia) is a beach in Bueu on the Morrazo peninsula, inside the protected area of Punta Udra, facing the Ría de Pontevedra. It is about 400 m of coarse pale sand that does not stick to you, with moderate surf and some wind. Nudity is most common on the right-hand side as you face the sea, near the rocks, though the whole beach is open to it. It gets busy in summer. Seasonal beach bars operate, though FEN finds them pricey. Dogs on a lead are generally accepted.
Getting there
The access road is very narrow and steep, with few passing places, so go early to avoid meeting traffic coming back. Several private plots near the beach charge for parking (about €2.50 a day in 2020). Bueu centre is about 2.5 km away. Not suitable for wheelchairs.
What visitors say
Visitors praise the clear water and coarse sand, and describe it as naturist-friendly, with nude bathers mostly near the rocks. The main complaint is the drive: a steep, narrow road with little room to pass and limited parking, so many advise parking early and walking the last part. Paid private parking is cheap. Beach bar quality gets mixed reviews.
