About Praia das Seiras
As Seiras, also known as Queiruga, is a 1.2 km beach of fine golden sand on the open Atlantic coast of Porto do Son (A Coruña), near the village of Queiruga. Well-preserved dunes back the beach, which lies in a Natura 2000 area, and the waves are moderate to strong. Nude and clothed bathers share the beach. FEN suggests arriving early and settling near the access, where nude bathers usually gather. The sand is cleaned daily, and lifeguards cover it in summer, but there are no showers. Occupancy is moderate.
Getting there
Turn off the AC-550 coast road at Queiruga. There is an unattended car park with about 50 spaces near the beach, which fills quickly in summer, so arrive early. A bus line stops in Queiruga, a short walk away. From the car park, a short path crosses the dunes to the sand.
