About Playa Punta del Angosto
Punta del Angosto is a 175 m boulder beach on a small cape on the north coast of Gran Canaria, in Santa María de Guía. It is about 20 m deep, with no sand to speak of, and the swell is usually strong. The setting is isolated and occupancy is low. FEN and beach listings class it as a nude beach. There are no lifeguards; only basic litter bins are listed.
Getting there
The cove lies below the GC-2 north coast road; access on foot is rated difficult over rough ground and boulders. An urban bus line serves the Guía area. Wear sturdy shoes and check the sea state before going down.
Legal context
Spanish law does not prohibit public nudity, and FEN notes that nudism is legal on any Spanish beach; this beach is on FEN's list of beaches with a traditional nude use. No local restriction is known (2026).
Naturism at Playa Punta del Angosto sits under Spain's rules for de facto tolerance — usually left alone if you keep it non-sexual and low-drama.
