About Playa Negrete
Negrete is a quiet beach of deep golden sand inside the Calblanque, Monte de las Cenizas y Peña del Águila regional park, on the Cartagena coast of Murcia just south of La Manga. The park protects one of the last undeveloped stretches of this shoreline, with dunes and old salt flats behind the beaches, and many consider its beaches the finest in the region. Negrete is about 600 metres long, with generally calm water and low occupancy. The Spanish Naturist Federation lists it as a beach of nudist tradition, and nude and clothed bathers share the sand. There are no facilities, as on the other Calblanque beaches, though the federation records lifeguard cover in season. In July and August car access to the park is restricted to protect it, so plan ahead.
Getting there
Reach Calblanque from the Autovía de La Manga (MU-312, exit 10). In high summer (roughly late June to early September, 09:00-20:30) private cars are restricted and a shuttle bus runs from Los Belones about every 20 minutes, with one line serving Playa Larga and Negrete; check current dates and fares before going. Outside those hours and months you can drive to the park's car parks and walk to the beach. Not wheelchair accessible.

Naturism at Playa Negrete sits under Spain's rules for de facto tolerance — usually left alone if you keep it non-sexual and low-drama.

Naturist status confirmed against an official source on 24 October 2026.
