About Playa Larga
Playa Larga is a long, narrow beach on the protected coast of Lorca in Murcia, inside the Cabo Cope and Puntas de Calnegre regional park, between Calnegre and the coves towards Águilas. FEN gives it as about 600 m long and only 7 m deep, of gravel and dark sand, with moderate surf, few people and no lifeguard or showers. There are no buildings or services along it. It shares the same unpaved coastal track as several small coves on this coast, some of which (such as Cala Blanca and La Junquera) are also used by nude bathers.
Getting there
Reach it on the unpaved coastal track through the regional park from Puntas de Calnegre or from the Águilas side; park off the track behind the beach. No public transport, no shade and no services.
Legal context
Spain has no national law against public nudity. Playa Larga is listed by FEN as a nudist-tradition beach; we found no local restriction (checked 2026).
Naturism at Playa Larga sits under Spain's rules for de facto tolerance — usually left alone if you keep it non-sexual and low-drama.

Naturist status confirmed against an official source on 24 October 2026.
