About Playa del Siscal
El Siscal is a 155 m cove on the protected coast of the Cabo Cope-Puntas de Calnegre regional park in Lorca, Murcia, between the village of Puntas de Calnegre and the old Ciscar guard post. The beach is a mix of rounded stones, gravel and darker sand, and the water usually has a moderate swell. There are no buildings; the backdrop is bare hills of the arid south-east coast. FEN lists it as a nude-tradition beach, and occupancy is moderate, busier than the tiny coves further along. There are no lifeguards, showers or bars, so bring everything you need. Note: the Spanish Naturist Federation is the only source we found that reports nude bathing here, and other guides do not mention it. Nude use may be occasional or limited to the quieter end, so expect most visitors to be clothed and check on arrival.
Getting there
From Puntas de Calnegre follow the coastal dirt track past Calnegre beach and the turn for the Baño de las Mujeres, then over the last rise to El Siscal. There is room for roughly 20 to 30 cars near the cove. The track is unpaved but drivable with care. Walkers can use the circular coastal route from the Puntas de Calnegre hostel.
