About Playa de Tres Playas
Tres Playas is a group of three small coves in Alcalà de Xivert (Alcossebre), Castellón, joined almost without a break and screened by rocky outcrops that hide them from their surroundings. It continues south from Playa del Moro along the road towards Cap i Corb, where there is a small hamlet and one of the old coastal watchtowers protected as Valencian heritage. In total the coves cover about 400 m, with golden sand mixed with gravel and rock, and the water has a moderate swell. FEN reports that nude bathing and fishing are both common here, though it also notes that the road and housing developments are rather close. Occupancy is low. There are showers, and FEN lists a lifeguard in season. Note: the Spanish Naturist Federation is the only source we found that reports nude bathing here, and other guides do not mention it. Nude use may be occasional or limited to the quieter end, so expect most visitors to be clothed and check on arrival.
Getting there
Drive along the coastal road south from Alcossebre towards Cap i Corb; the coves are beside the road, with roadside parking. A track suitable for bikes and walkers runs parallel to the shore. The nearest main road is the N-340. Short paths lead down over rock to each cove.
