About Playa de Torrenostra
Torrenostra is the seaside district of Torreblanca on the Castellón coast, about 3 km from the town. The beach in front of it is a 700 m urban strip of golden sand with calm water, a seafront promenade, car parking, lifeguards and showers, and it has held a Blue Flag for decades; it is aimed squarely at families. To the north it continues as Playa del Norte, and to the south it gives way to the Prat de Cabanes-Torreblanca natural park, a protected coastal wetland where development stops and the shore becomes a long, wild ribbon of sand and gravel backed by marsh. The Spanish Naturist Federation lists Torrenostra, but its own note makes clear that naturists use the marshland stretch south of the built-up beach, not the urban beach itself. The provincial tourism office likewise places nudist use along this wild coast further south, around Cuartell Vell in Cabanes. Note: the Spanish Naturist Federation is the only source we found that reports nude bathing here, and other guides do not mention it. Nude use may be occasional or limited to the quieter end, so expect most visitors to be clothed and check on arrival.
Getting there
Torrenostra is reached from the N-340 or AP-7 via Torreblanca, about 3 km inland. There is parking along the promenade and accessible ramps onto the urban beach. For the quieter, nude-used stretch, walk south from the end of the promenade along the shore into the Prat de Cabanes natural park; there are no facilities beyond the built-up area.

Legal context
Nudity is not prohibited on Valencian beaches, but Torrenostra's urban beach is not designated nudist and is used by families. Nude use is customary in the undeveloped natural park to the south, where park rules protect the dunes and wetland (2026).
Naturism at Playa de Torrenostra sits under Spain's rules for de facto tolerance — usually left alone if you keep it non-sexual and low-drama.
Full country law: Spain public nudity guide.
Naturist status confirmed against an official source on 24 October 2026.
