About Playa de Talamanca
Talamanca is the sheltered bay immediately north-east of Ibiza town's harbour, in the municipality of Eivissa, with views back across the water to the old walled town of Dalt Vila. The beach is a curve of golden sand of nearly 1 km, with calm, shallow water, and is backed by hotels, apartments, restaurants and beach clubs. It is well serviced, with lifeguards, showers, toilets, sunbed and parasol rental and wheelchair access, and it gets very crowded in high season. The Spanish Naturist Federation lists Talamanca as a beach of nudist tradition, and a Spanish naturist guide describes it as one of the old nude spots of the Balearics. No current source describes a defined nude section, and with hotels and families along the whole bay, nude bathers are likely to be few and to keep to the rocky edges of the beach rather than the central stretch. Expect a lively, urban atmosphere rather than a naturist one. Note: the Spanish Naturist Federation is the only source we found that reports nude bathing here, and other guides do not mention it. Nude use may be occasional or limited to the quieter end, so expect most visitors to be clothed and check on arrival.
Getting there
Talamanca is a 25-30 minute walk from Ibiza town's marina along the waterfront, or a short drive or taxi. City buses run from Ibiza town in season, and a water taxi crosses from the port. There is street parking behind the beach, which fills quickly in summer. The beach has accessible entry points and a promenade, so it is one of the easier Ibiza beaches for wheelchair users.

Legal context
Nudity is not prohibited on Spanish beaches, and Talamanca's place on the Spanish Naturist Federation list rests on tradition rather than any municipal designation. As an urban beach with hotels and families, nude bathing is uncommon there today (2026).
Naturism at Playa de Talamanca sits under Spain's rules for de facto tolerance — usually left alone if you keep it non-sexual and low-drama.

Naturist status confirmed against an official source on 24 October 2026.
