About Playa de Puntas de Calnegre
Puntas de Calnegre is a beach of golden sand and gravel, about 1.1 km long, in front of the small hamlet of the same name on Lorca's short stretch of Mediterranean coast in the Region of Murcia. It lies within the Cabo Cope and Puntas de Calnegre regional park, a protected landscape of headlands and undeveloped coves between Cabo Tiñoso and Cabo Cope. The beach itself is a quiet, low-rise village beach with summer lifeguards and showers and moderate swell, and it is mainly used by families. The Spanish Naturist Federation includes it in its list, but its own description uses the beach mainly as the gateway to the string of small coves to the west, Calnegre, Baño de las Mujeres, Cala Siscal and Calahonda, which become progressively more remote and more nudist the further you go along the rough coastal track. Anyone looking for a nude day should treat Puntas de Calnegre as the starting point rather than the destination. Note: the Spanish Naturist Federation is the only source we found that reports nude bathing here, and other guides do not mention it. Nude use may be occasional or limited to the quieter end, so expect most visitors to be clothed and check on arrival.
Getting there
Leave the AP-7 at the Ramonete exit and follow signs south for about 6 km to Puntas de Calnegre; shortly before the hamlet a sign marked Calas de Lorca points to a track. Parking is informal along the road and at the hamlet. To reach the more secluded coves, park on that track and walk west; Calahonda lies about 1.5 km further along a rougher dirt road. There is no useful public transport.

Legal context
Nudity is not prohibited on Spanish beaches, but Puntas de Calnegre is not designated nudist; Lorca's only officially recognised nudist beach (since 2018) is Cala Junquera. Nude use in this area is customary and concentrated in the coves west of the hamlet (2026).
Naturism at Playa de Puntas de Calnegre sits under Spain's rules for de facto tolerance — usually left alone if you keep it non-sexual and low-drama.

Naturist status confirmed against an official source on 24 October 2026.
