About Playa de Los Cristianos
Playa de Los Cristianos is the main town beach of Los Cristianos, in Arona on Tenerife's south coast, between the ferry port and the seafront promenade. FEN gives it as about 345 m of golden sand and 80 m deep, with calm water, lifeguards, showers and high use. It is sheltered by the harbour breakwater and is a busy family beach with sunbed rental and restaurants along the promenade. FEN includes it in its list of nudist-tradition beaches, but other guides describe it as a conventional resort beach, so expect almost everyone to be clothed. Guides suggest that nudity is more likely on parts of the neighbouring Los Tarajales beach or on the natural beaches of the south coast, such as La Tejita. Note: the Spanish Naturist Federation is the only source we found that reports nude bathing here, and other guides do not mention it. Nude use may be occasional or limited to the quieter end, so expect most visitors to be clothed and check on arrival.
Getting there
The beach is in the centre of Los Cristianos, next to the port, and is reached directly from the promenade. There is public parking in town (often full) and frequent TITSA buses from the rest of the south and from Santa Cruz. The promenade gives level access to the sand.

Legal context
Spain has no national law against nudity in public. FEN lists Los Cristianos as a nudist-tradition beach, but it is a busy urban family beach and we found no other source describing nude use today.
Naturism at Playa de Los Cristianos sits under Spain's rules for de facto tolerance — usually left alone if you keep it non-sexual and low-drama.

Naturist status confirmed against an official source on 24 October 2026.
