About Playa de La Restinga
La Restinga is the fishing village at the southern tip of El Hierro, in the municipality of El Pinar, and its beach is a small sheltered patch of dark gravel and sand beside the harbour. FEN gives it at about 50 m by 10 m, with calm water, a lifeguard and medium use. The village is the centre of diving on El Hierro, next to the Mar de las Calmas marine reserve, and the beach is mainly used by locals and families because the sea here is usually flat. FEN includes it in its list of nudist-tradition beaches, but other guides describe it as the village's family beach, so expect clothed bathers. Bars and restaurants line the harbour. Note: the Spanish Naturist Federation is the only source we found that reports nude bathing here, and other guides do not mention it. Nude use may be occasional or limited to the quieter end, so expect most visitors to be clothed and check on arrival.
Getting there
La Restinga is at the end of the road running south from El Pinar to the island's southern tip. Park in the village; the beach is next to the harbour, a short flat walk from the centre.

Spain has no national law against nudity in public. FEN lists La Restinga as a nudist-tradition beach, but it is a village harbour beach and we found no other source describing current nude use.
Naturism at Playa de La Restinga sits under Spain's rules for de facto tolerance — usually left alone if you keep it non-sexual and low-drama.
