About Playa de la Rambla de Elena
Rambla de Elena is a small, quiet beach in the municipality of Águilas, north-east of Calabardina and Cabo Cope, on the Costa Cálida in the Region of Murcia. FEN gives it at about 265 m of gravel and dark sand, with moderate waves and low use. It sits at the mouth of a dry riverbed (rambla), backed by arid hills. It borders El Rafal, which Águilas council opened to naturist use in 2016 and which runs between El Charco and Rambla Elena, so nude bathers spread along this stretch of coast. There are no lifeguards or facilities, and the nearest bars and shops are in Calabardina.
Getting there
Rambla de Elena is reached by car via the RM-D15 road north-east of Calabardina. Guides describe road access as easy, with parking near the beach; neighbouring El Rafal is reached by an unpaved track. There is no public transport to the beach itself and no adapted access. Bring water and shade.

Legal context
Spain has no national law against nudity in public. Águilas council opened neighbouring El Rafal beach to naturism in 2016; Rambla de Elena itself is listed by the Spanish Naturist Federation as a nudist-tradition beach but has no formal designation that we could find.
Naturism at Playa de la Rambla de Elena sits under Spain's rules for de facto tolerance — usually left alone if you keep it non-sexual and low-drama.
Full country law: Spain public nudity guide.
Naturist status confirmed against an official source on 24 October 2026.
