About Playa de La Fuente

La Fuente is a small, undeveloped beach on the north coast of Gran Canaria in the municipality of Arucas, a short way west of Las Salinas. FEN describes it as about 170 m of boulders and rock under low cliffs, with strong surf and few visitors. It is one of several rocky coves along this stretch of coast where nudity is customary. There is no sand to speak of and no services; the Atlantic swell often makes swimming difficult, and entering over the rocks needs care.

Getting there

La Fuente is reached from the old coastal road through Arucas (formerly the C-810) and is also served by interurban buses along the coast. From the road, a short walk over rough ground leads down to the rocks. Wear sturdy footwear. There is no adapted access.

Legal context

Spain has no national law against nudity in public. La Fuente is listed by the Spanish Naturist Federation as a nudist-tradition beach; we found no local ordinance.

Naturism at Playa de La Fuente sits under Spain's rules for de facto tolerance — usually left alone if you keep it non-sexual and low-drama.
