About Playa de la Albufereta
La Albufereta is a small beach in the district of the same name on the north side of Alicante, between the Serra Grossa hill and the Tossal de Manises archaeological site, where the earliest settlement of the city stood. FEN gives it as about 420 m of sand with calm water, lifeguards and high occupancy, and notes that stormwater from the Joncaret ravine discharges onto the beach. The Spanish Naturist Federation includes it in its list of nudist-tradition beaches, but it is now a busy, built-up family beach with full services, and other guides do not describe nude use. Expect most bathers to be clothed.
Getting there
La Albufereta is about 3 km north of central Alicante along the coast. The TRAM tram and city buses stop nearby, and there is street parking in the district, which fills in summer. The beach is urban, with access straight from the street.

Legal context
Spain has no national law against nudity in public. FEN lists La Albufereta as a nudist-tradition beach, but it is an urban beach and we found no other source describing current nude use or any local ordinance.
Naturism at Playa de la Albufereta sits under Spain's rules for de facto tolerance — usually left alone if you keep it non-sexual and low-drama.

Naturist status confirmed against an official source on 24 October 2026.
