About Playa de El Molinero
El Molinero is a small cove on the south coast of Gran Canaria in San Bartolomé de Tirajana, about 2 km east of Arguineguín harbour. It is a strip of rounded stones and gravel roughly 200 m long under low cliffs, sheltered by rocks, with moderate waves. Spain.info and FEN both describe it as a nudist beach. Unlike the resort beaches nearby, it has no facilities and stays fairly quiet, used mainly by locals and nude sunbathers who prefer it to the crowds at Maspalomas. Water shoes help on the stones.
Getting there
El Molinero can be reached on foot from the coast road between Arguineguín and Pasito Blanco; tourism listings describe the access as easy. It can also be reached by boat. Buses on the Mogán coastal line run along the road above. There is no adapted access and parking is by the roadside.
Amenities
Legal context
Spain has no national law against nudity in public. El Molinero is described by Spain.info and FEN as a nudist beach by custom; we found no municipal ordinance.
Naturism at Playa de El Molinero sits under Spain's rules for de facto tolerance — usually left alone if you keep it non-sexual and low-drama.
Full country law: Spain public nudity guide.
Naturist status confirmed against an official source on 24 October 2026.
