About Playa de Cerrillos
Cerrillos is a long, wild beach of dark sand and fine gravel inside the Punta Entinas-Sabinar natural area, between Roquetas de Mar and Almerimar. Behind it are dunes, juniper scrub and lagoons, and there is no development on the shore. The setting's emptiness makes it a favourite for nude walking, running and sunbathing, and on most of the long strand you will have plenty of space. There are no services and no shade, the wind often blows, and the sea can be choppy, so come prepared.
Getting there
Vehicles are barred from the beach by wooden posts. Park at the edge of the natural area, on the Roquetas/Las Salinas side or the El Ejido side, and walk in. The walk to a quiet spot can be long.
Legal context
Nudism is lawful under Spanish national law, and we found no Roquetas de Mar or El Ejido ordinance banning it. The beach lies in a protected natural area (Paraje Natural and ZEPA), so normal protected-area rules apply, such as staying off the dunes.
Naturism at Playa de Cerrillos sits under Spain's rules for de facto tolerance — usually left alone if you keep it non-sexual and low-drama.
