About Playa de Calblanque
Calblanque is a protected stretch of undeveloped coast in Cartagena (Murcia), inside the Calblanque, Monte de las Cenizas and Peña del Águila Regional Park, between La Manga and Portmán. The Spanish Naturist Federation lists its beach as a nudist-tradition beach: about 300 metres of golden sand with moderate waves, isolated and with low occupancy, backed by fossil dunes, salt flats and scrub-covered hills. The park contains a series of sandy beaches and coves with no buildings, and nude bathing is commonly practised along them alongside clothed visitors. In summer, private car access is restricted to protect the park, and a park bus takes most visitors in. Lifeguards operate in season, but there are no bars, showers or shade on the sand, so bring water and a sunshade. Dogs are banned from the beaches and vehicles are not allowed in the beach area at night.
Getting there
In summer (in 2026, 27-28 June and 4 July to 30 August) access is mainly by the Calblanque 440 park bus from the car park at Los Belones, with tickets sold online (2 euros single, 3 euros return). Outside the bus period, drive in on the park's unpaved roads to the beach car parks. Walkers and cyclists can enter freely at any time. Paths from the car parks to the sand are short and sandy.

Legal context
Nudity is not prohibited on Spanish beaches; FEN lists Calblanque as a nudist-tradition beach. Regional park rules restrict car access in summer, ban dogs from the beaches and prohibit vehicles in the beach area at night (2026).
Naturism at Playa de Calblanque sits under Spain's rules for de facto tolerance — usually left alone if you keep it non-sexual and low-drama.

Naturist status confirmed against an official source on 24 October 2026.
