About Platja del Torrent del Pi
Platja del Torrent del Pi, also known as Cala Mosques, is a small naturist cove on the rocky Costa Daurada coast near the Les Tres Cales estate, a few kilometres south of l'Ametlla de Mar (Tarragona). It is roughly 90 metres long and 12 to 20 metres wide, a mix of boulders, rock and patches of golden sand and pebbles, with moderate waves and clear water. The cove lies in an area protected for its natural and landscape value, with small coastal lagoons behind the shore that hold endemic insects and native plants, and the GR-92 Mediterranean long-distance path runs past it. The Spanish Naturist Federation lists it as a naturist beach and reports high occupancy in summer, which is notable given its small size. FEN notes daily cleaning and nearby parking; directories also mention toilets and showers in the area, though FEN's own data sheet says there are no showers and no lifeguard. The nearest restaurant is roughly half a kilometre away.
Getting there
Drive to the Les Tres Cales estate south of l'Ametlla de Mar (off the N-340 / AP-7) and park near the coast; the cove is a short walk down from the estate. It can also be reached on foot along the GR-92 coastal path from l'Ametlla de Mar. L'Ametlla de Mar has a railway station on the Tarragona–Tortosa line. The final approach is over rock and pebbles, so it is not wheelchair accessible.
