About Platja de l'Olla

L'Olla is a long, narrow beach of pebbles and gravel in Altea on the Costa Blanca, between the Mar y Montaña and L'Olla marinas. FEN gives it as about 1.4 km long but only around 10 m deep, semi-urban, with calm water, a lifeguard and medium use. Two small islands, L'Illeta and L'Illot, sit just offshore and can be reached by swimming. In mid-August it hosts the Castell de l'Olla, a large fireworks and music show. This is a busy town beach and other guides do not describe a nude section; the official regional tourism site points nude bathers to the nearby cove of La Solsida instead. Note: the Spanish Naturist Federation is the only source we found that reports nude bathing here, and other guides do not mention it. Nude use may be occasional or limited to the quieter end, so expect most visitors to be clothed and check on arrival.

Getting there

Legal context

Spain has no national law against public nudity. FEN lists L'Olla as nudist-tradition, but it is a busy semi-urban beach and the official regional tourism site mentions nudism only at nearby La Solsida (checked 2026).

Naturism at Platja de l'Olla sits under Spain's rules for de facto tolerance — usually left alone if you keep it non-sexual and low-drama.

Naturist status confirmed against an official source on 24 October 2026.
