About Platja de l'Aiguadolç
L'Aiguadolç is a small, signposted naturist beach in Vilanova i la Geltrú on the Garraf coast, about 2.5 km from the town centre, between Sant Gervasi beach and the rocky shore of Santa Llúcia. It is only about 150 m long and 30 m deep, a gently sloping strip of coarse golden sand with calm water, and it gets busy in summer. Unusually for Spain, it is looked after by its own naturist association: the Associació Naturista de la Platja de l'Aiguadolç (ANPA), a member of the Spanish Naturist Federation, promotes naturism here and works on maintaining and improving the beach. Naturist signage marks the beach, so nude bathing is the norm rather than a minority practice. It sits next to the developed seafront of Vilanova, so it is easy to reach and has summer lifeguards and showers, though some guides say services are mainly on neighbouring Sant Gervasi.
Getting there
L'Aiguadolç is on the eastern edge of Vilanova i la Geltrú, reached along the seafront past Sant Gervasi beach. A public car park is shared with Sant Gervasi; it gets very busy on summer weekends and parking rules are strictly enforced. Vilanova i la Geltrú station (Rodalies R2 Sud) is about 2.5 km away, a walk along the seafront promenade.
