About Platja de Cala d'Oques
Cala d'Oques is a small cove on the rocky southern Costa Daurada coast at L'Hospitalet de l'Infant, in the municipality of Vandellòs i l'Hospitalet de l'Infant. It lies at the start of a stretch of cliffs, pine woods and small coves that runs south past Cala Bea and the El Templo del Sol naturist campsite to Platja del Torn, one of the busiest nudist beaches in Spain. The cove has a mix of sand and pebbles and is close to the road. It is on the Catalan Naturism Club's list of nudist beaches in the Baix Camp, alongside El Torn, and beach directories also describe it as nudist. Locals fill it at weekends. The regional tourism board uses Cala d'Oques as the start of a circular coastal walk through what it calls an optimal area for naturist tourism, so nude walkers and bathers are a familiar sight along this coast. Services are minimal; sources disagree on whether there is a shower.
Getting there
Cala d'Oques is at the southern edge of L'Hospitalet de l'Infant, next to the coast road, with limited parking nearby. L'Hospitalet de l'Infant has a railway station, from which the cove is a walk south through town. The Costa Daurada naturist route (8 km circular, about 3 hours, medium difficulty, partly on GR-92 waymarks) starts here and climbs through pines past Cala Bea and the Templo del Sol campsite towards Platja del Torn; parts follow exposed steps along cliffs. Not wheelchair accessible.

Legal context
Spain has no national law against public nudity, and nude bathing is lawful on any beach unless a municipal bylaw restricts it. Cala d'Oques is listed as nudist by the Catalan Naturism Club (2026) and some directories say it is officially declared nudist, but no municipal document confirming a designation was found. The neighbouring Platja del Torn is the area's established naturist beach.
Naturism at Platja de Cala d'Oques sits under Spain's rules for de facto tolerance — usually left alone if you keep it non-sexual and low-drama.

Researched 24 October 2026. No official source confirms naturist status, so treat it as unverified.
