About Little Diggers Beach
Little Diggers Beach is a small cove at the northern end of Diggers Beach, just north of Coffs Harbour on the NSW Mid North Coast, within Coffs Coast Regional Park. NSW National Parks describes it as an unofficial nude bathing beach, and Destination NSW's guide to Coffs Coast beaches calls it a secluded, unofficial nudist beach. It is separated from the main Diggers Beach, a popular surf beach with a picnic area, playground and viewing pavilion, by rocks, so it feels apart from the busier family beach next door. The nude area is the whole of the little beach rather than a marked section. The beach faces the open ocean and the surf can be strong; there is no lifeguard on this cove. Visitors note that getting there easily depends on the tide, so check tide times before setting out. There are no facilities on the cove itself; the picnic area and amenities are at Diggers Beach.
Getting there
Diggers Beach is a few minutes' drive north of Coffs Harbour city centre; parking and the picnic area are at the main beach. Little Diggers lies at its northern end and is reached on foot from Diggers Beach. Visitors recommend going around low tide, as the route past the rocks is easier then. Access involves walking on sand and rocks and is not suitable for wheelchairs.

Legal context
Little Diggers is not a legally designated nude beach under NSW law. NSW National Parks and Destination NSW both describe it (checked 2026) as an unofficial nude bathing beach, so nudity is tolerated in practice but not legally protected.
Naturism at Little Diggers Beach sits under Australia's rules for de facto tolerance — usually left alone if you keep it non-sexual and low-drama.
