About Lake Martignano
Lago di Martignano is a small, clean crater lake in the countryside north-west of Rome, between Anguillara Sabazia and Campagnano. Visitors enter from the Anguillarese road and walk down to a grassy main beach with kiosks and boat hire. The far right-hand side of the shore, a long walk from the entrance, is traditionally used by nude bathers, who ask that visitors avoid loud music. The water is calm and good for swimming, and the lake lies inside a regional park.
This Italy naturist beach is a clothing-optional place in a traditionally tolerated setting. Families are welcome.
