About La Feniglia
La Feniglia is a six-kilometre sandy beach on the tombolo that links Monte Argentario to the mainland, backed by the pine forest of the Duna Feniglia state nature reserve. The beach has no road along it, so the stretches furthest from the car parks at Ansedonia and Porto Ercole stay quiet, and nude sunbathing is practised informally in the dunes there. Walk or cycle in along the forest track, bring shade and water, and keep off the protected dunes.
This Italy naturist beach is a clothing-optional place in a traditionally tolerated setting. Families are welcome.
Legal context
Naturism at La Feniglia sits under Italy's rules for traditional tolerance — custom more than statute.
