About Freibad Langsee
Freibad Langsee is an outdoor bathing site in the Pegnitz valley in Nuremberg-Mögeldorf, run by the sports club TSV 1846 Nürnberg. It is the only outdoor pool in Nuremberg with a natural swimming lake, fed by groundwater, alongside a solar-heated non-swimmer pool, a swimmer pool and a baby paddling pool. The grounds are spacious and green, with some lawns in full sun and others under trees. The City of Nuremberg confirms that a separate area of the grounds is reserved for FKK. Clothed and nude visitors therefore share one ticketed site but use different lawns, and the lake is open to everyone. The rest of the site is aimed at families, with a playground with spring rockers and a sandpit, table tennis and a beach volleyball court. Note that the city listed the pool as temporarily closed from 3 July 2026, so check that it has reopened before you plan a visit.
Getting there
The entrance is at Ebenseestraße 35, 90482 Nürnberg-Mögeldorf, in the Pegnitz valley on the eastern side of the city. Admission is charged, and prices and opening hours are published by the operator TSV 1846 Nürnberg. In 2025 the season started in early May, with hours of 10:00 to 20:00 Monday to Saturday and 9:00 to 20:00 on Sundays and holidays. Our sources do not cover parking or public transport details, so use the VGN journey planner for Mögeldorf. Paths inside the grounds are flat.
