About FKK Nordende

Grömitz is a busy Baltic resort on the Lübeck Bay coast of Schleswig-Holstein, with a long, fine-sand beach and promenade. Its nude bathing is concentrated away from the town centre at the north-eastern end of the beach towards Lensterstrand, about 4 km from central Grömitz, where travel guides and the nacktbaden.de directory place designated FKK sections alongside a dog beach. Lensterstrand is the quieter, more natural part of the Grömitz coast, with dunes and bird-protection areas and several campsites close to the beach, and the Ostsee climbing park nearby. The beach is sandy. Exact boundaries of the FKK section are not published by the resort, so look for the beach signs or ask a lifeguard or beach-chair attendant on arrival. In peak season a DLRG lifeguard station watches the main Grömitz beach.

Getting there

From Grömitz town, follow the coast path north-east through Lenste to Lensterstrand, a walk or bike ride of about 4 km. Lenste has several campsites and holiday parks behind the beach; check locally for public parking near the beach entrances. Access to the sand is via short paths through the low dunes.

Legal context

Guides state that FKK is permitted on designated sections of the Grömitz beach, including at Lensterstrand, but the resort's own beach pages do not mention FKK, so no official confirmation was found. Nudity elsewhere on the main beach is not appropriate (checked 2026).

Naturism at FKK Nordende sits under Germany's rules for de facto tolerance — usually left alone if you keep it non-sexual and low-drama.
