About FKK Jadra Beach
Jadra is a stretch of rocky shore about 1.4 km north of the resort village of Stara Novalja, near the northern tip of the island of Pag. The Jadra area has an ordinary bathing beach with a small beach bar and fixed parasols, a section set aside for dogs, and a separate FKK section in a rocky cove further along. The naturist cove is mostly flat and broken rock with some pebbles, with steps and handrailed ramps into clear water in the developed parts; underwater freshwater springs give sudden cold patches when swimming. There is no shade to speak of and nothing to buy on the nude side, so people bring their own food, drinks and ideally a lounger or mat, as the rock is uncomfortable for lying on a towel. Signage at the cove is reported to mark it as a naturist-only beach. It is quieter than the party beaches of Novalja and draws a mix of locals and informed tourists, though it gets company in high summer.
Getting there
Drive north from Stara Novalja; the journey is 6-10 minutes. Several places are named Jadra on maps: take the right fork rather than continuing straight to the paid main Jadra car park, which is a long walk from the FKK section. The final stretch is a dirt road passable in a normal car if driven slowly, ending at a free parking area about a two-minute downhill walk from the cove. Walking from Stara Novalja takes around 45 minutes with no shade. Some visitors anchor a boat offshore. Not wheelchair accessible.
What visitors say
Reviewers describe the FKK cove as calm, scenic and clearly naturist, with a crowd of locals and well-informed visitors; early arrivals may have it to themselves before others turn up. Common tips are to skip the paid main car park and use the free lot above the cove, to bring a lounger because of the rock, and to pack food and water since nothing is sold on the nude side. Stories of police fining clothed bathers circulate but reviewers saw no evidence.

Legal context
Croatia permits nudity on designated naturist beaches. The Novalja tourist board's beach list (2026) mentions Jadra and its dog section but not the FKK cove; a German guide and reviewer reports describe a designated FKK section with signage, and rumours of fines for clothed visitors were not substantiated (2025).
Naturism at FKK Jadra Beach sits under Croatia's rules for de facto tolerance — usually left alone if you keep it non-sexual and low-drama.
