About FKK Castricum pad doodstil
The naturist beach at Castricum aan Zee lies on the North Holland coast north of the main Castricum beach, backed by the dunes of the Noordhollands Duinreservaat. Nude recreation takes place over about 1.85 km between beach poles 46.00 and 47.85, an area shown on the information boards at the beach entrances but not signed on the sand itself. A smaller patch between poles 45.50 and 45.75, about 100 m before the Hazenduin beach entrance, is tolerated and is often the busiest part. It is a wide, open North Sea beach of fine sand with a gradually sloping bottom and no shade. There are no facilities on the naturist stretch itself; the beach pavilions Club Zand and De Vrijheit are each about 800 m away at either end. There is no lifeguard on this stretch; the nearest lifeguard post is at Castricum aan Zee. Dogs are not allowed.
Getting there
By car take the Zeeweg to its end at Castricum aan Zee, where there is a large paid car park, then walk north along the beach for about 1.5 km. On foot or by bike through the dunes, you need a valid entry permit for the Noordhollands Duinreservaat. The nearest bus stop is listed as about 20 minutes away. Bicycle parking is 400 to 850 m away. Not suitable for wheelchair users.
