About Drašnice East Beach FKK

This is a tiny naturist cove on the coast east of Drašnice, a small village on the southern Makarska Riviera between Podgora and Igrane. It sits along the coastal path toward Igrane, below the pine-covered slopes that run down from the Biokovo massif. The cove is a natural white-pebble beach with no facilities and no shade, and it is very small: visitors estimate room for about six people, so it can feel full even on a quiet day. The water is clear and calm, good for swimming and snorkelling along the rocks. An FKK sign painted on a rock along the path marks the spot. Visitors describe a peaceful, respectful naturist atmosphere when it is used by nudists, but several reports mention people in swimsuits occupying the cove, and others suggest that nude use along this stretch has declined as hotels and diving activity have grown. It suits adults and couples looking for solitude rather than a social naturist beach.

Getting there

From Drašnice village centre, walk south-east along the coastal path toward Igrane (Tila Lučica direction) for about 15 minutes, watching for small side trails down to the cove and the FKK marking on a rock. The path is rated easy to moderate. There is a small informal parking area before the trail entrance; visitors report disputes with a local man over parking, so park considerately or walk from the village. Buses on the D8 coastal road stop at Drašnice. Not wheelchair accessible.

What visitors say

The handful of reviews praise the peace, clear water and respectful naturist mood, with one visitor finding everyone nude. Others were disappointed to find clothed bathers, some litter from previous visitors, and a confrontational local over parking. Because the cove is so small, arriving early is the main tip. There is a suggestion that naturists now use this coast less than in the past.

Legal context

In Croatia nudity in public places is an offence under public-order law outside designated naturist (FKK) areas. The cove is marked FKK and is described by one listing as an official FKK zone, but we did not find a Podgora/Drašnice tourist board source confirming it (checked 2026).

Naturism at Drašnice East Beach FKK sits under Croatia's rules for de facto tolerance — usually left alone if you keep it non-sexual and low-drama.
