About Dietenbachsee
The Dietenbachsee is a small lake in Freiburg's Weingarten district, created in 1981 during road construction and now set in the Dietenbachpark, a large urban park with lawns, playgrounds and asphalt paths popular with walkers, cyclists and inline skaters. It is a popular city bathing lake from late May to September. According to a naturist report, nude sunbathing and bathing are practised and tolerated on the lawns along the north-east shore, where litter bins are provided; the rest of the park is used by clothed visitors and families. Expect an urban setting with many people around on warm days rather than seclusion. The nearby Flückiger See, about 1.5 km away, has a similar tolerated nude area on its north shore.
Getting there
The lake is in the Dietenbachpark in western Freiburg (Weingarten/Rieselfeld area) and is reached on foot or by bike on the park's paved paths; Freiburg's tram network serves the surrounding districts. The park paths are asphalt, so much of the shore is easy to reach. There is no dedicated beach infrastructure for nude bathers.

Legal context
No official FKK designation by the city of Freiburg was found; a naturist report (2000) describes nude bathing on the north-east shore as practised and tolerated. Because the source is old, check the situation on site.
Naturism at Dietenbachsee sits under Germany's rules for traditional tolerance — custom more than statute.
