About Cala Honda
Cala Honda is a small, isolated cove on the undeveloped coast of Lorca in the far south-west of the Murcia region, between Calnegre and the Águilas boundary. It lies at the mouth of a rambla, a dry gully that carries flash-flood water to the sea, and the sediment it brings down has built a small delta of dark sand and fine gravel. The beach is about 100 m long and 20 m wide, with calm water on most summer days and no buildings or services nearby. The Spanish naturist federation lists it among Murcia's beaches of traditional nude use, and a local guide to the Lorca coast notes that, like the other remote coves along this stretch (Siscal, Cuartel del Ciscar, Cala de San Pedro, Baño de las Mujeres), it draws people who prefer to swim without a costume. The whole beach is used; there is no separate nude section. Visitor numbers are low, made up mostly of couples and small groups who have driven the track from Calnegre. The only officially designated nude beach in the municipality is Cala Junquera, a little further along.
Getting there
Reach it on the unpaved coastal track that runs west from Calnegre (Lorca) past Cala Siscal. The track deteriorates significantly beyond Siscal, so drive slowly or walk the last part; parking is informal beside the track. The FEN describes the cove as small and hard to reach on foot. There is no public transport, no signposted path and no step-free access.

Visitors who make the trip describe a quiet, wild cove with very few people and calm water, valued for the sense of isolation. The bumpy track is the main complaint, along with the complete lack of shade and services. The sand is dark and gravelly rather than fine, and the cove is small.
