About Cala de Trebalúger
Cala Trebalúger is a cove of fine white sand on Menorca's south coast in the municipality of Es Migjorn Gran, at the mouth of a deep, wooded ravine (barranc) whose stream forms a small lagoon behind the beach. It is about 140 m long and 40 m deep, with calm, clear turquoise water framed by limestone cliffs and pines. With no road access, it stays far quieter than the neighbouring Cala Mitjana and Cala Galdana, and that relative isolation has made it one of the island's best-loved nude beaches; the Spanish Naturist Federation lists it, and other guides describe nudity as common. There are no services of any kind: no lifeguard, toilets, bar or showers. Boats anchor offshore on summer days, so mornings are the quietest time. Bring water and shade, as the walk in is hot.
Getting there
There is no road. Park at the Cala Mitjana car park (reached from Ferreries/Cala Galdana) and walk east on the Camí de Cavalls coastal path, then take the branch down to Trebalúger: allow about 30-60 minutes depending on pace, on rocky, uneven ground through pine woods. Good footwear and water are essential. The cove can also be reached by boat or kayak. Not accessible for wheelchairs.
What visitors say
Visitors describe Trebalúger as one of the most beautiful and unspoilt coves in Menorca, well worth the walk. Estimates of the hike from Cala Mitjana vary widely, from 25 minutes to an hour. Early arrivals often have it almost to themselves, while late mornings bring more walkers and boats. Nudity is reported as common and relaxed.

Legal context
Nudity is not prohibited on Balearic beaches, and Trebalúger's nude use is customary, recognised by the Spanish Naturist Federation rather than by a municipal designation. The cove lies in a protected natural area of Menorca's south coast (2026).
Naturism at Cala de Trebalúger sits under Spain's rules for de facto tolerance — usually left alone if you keep it non-sexual and low-drama.
